    The Most Exciting Events in Paris in June 2019

    June is a great time to visit Paris, especially if it is your first time.

    The weather is fantastic. It isn’t too warm just yet, so the heat isn’t too intense, and the nights linger that little bit longer so you can stroll around the streets without feeling chilly and see why Parisian nightlife is so renowned.

    With summer kicking into gear, there is a definite party atmosphere in the air as the season gets into full swing, with a host of events and concerts taking place across Paris this month.

    • Date: 1st June 2019
    • Venue: Palais des Congrès

    Kicking off the month with one of the biggest divas ever, Mariah Carey is coming for a one-off show at the Palais des Congres as part of her Caution World Tour.

    Expect a lot of glitter, pop anthems being belted out by the diva and plenty of sing-along to songs like Without You, Hero and Heartbreaker

    • Venue: AccorHotels Arena 

    Another legendary name in music, and arguably one of the greatest producers of all time, at the ripe young age of 87 Quincy Jones comes back to Paris with another of his fantastic shows. 

    Going through his back catalogue of movie scores, Grammy-winning songs and appearances by special guests, it’s a must for music fans of all ages. Expect to hear everything from Soul Bossa Nova and his production on Sinatra albums to songs from The Italian Job and other Hollywood movies he has composed. 

    • Event: Gary Clark Jr.
    • Date: 22nd June 2019
    • Venue: La Cigale

    An artist known for having a mix of blues, rap, rock and soul, Gary Clark Jr. is a unique artist and one of the most prevalent voices in America right now. Coming off the release of his fourth studio album, This Land, his show at La Cigale is the only French stop on his European tour.

    • Date: 26th & 27th June 2019
    • Venue: Zenith

    One of the trendiest venues in the city turns in to one big hip hop club when A$AP Rocky plays Zenith near the end of the month.

    This is one of the hottest tickets in town.  The first show sold out so fast that a second night was added due to popularity.  If you’re a fan of all things A$AP or rap, you’ll love going to a gig like this in such a unique venue.

    We’re around a century removed from the October Revolution and subsequent upheavals of power in Soviet Russia. And while it may have had a troubled history, the art of the period is seen as some of the most resounding and instantly recognisable.

    June sees the last month that the Rouge exhibition will be at the Grand Palais, showcasing the way art was used to push political messages in Russia in the 20th century.

    • Date: 21st – 23rd June 2019
    • Venue: Paris Longchamp 

    Now in its 20th year, Solidays is a music festival with a purpose. Originally set up as a way to help raise funds for AIDS, the annual three-day festival is all about getting some of the best artists from around the globe to play a fantastic festival while helping to raise money & awareness for sexual health and AIDs.

    This year’s line-up includes Macklemore, Die Antwood, Corine, John Butler Threesome and Parcels.

    Tickets start at 46,50 € for a 1-day ticket.

    • Date: 29th June 2019
    • Venue: Stade de France

    One of the highlights of the year for anyone who sees themselves as a budding Dave Grohl or Jimi Hendrix, Rockin 1000 is a unique kind of concert where the band is made up of every person in attendance.

    Anyone who plays the guitar, bass or drums can bring their kit along to plug in and play along with everyone else as you’re taken through a list of the biggest rock anthems ever. 

    Expect a crowd of thousands to sing and play along to classics from Nirvana, ACDC, Queen and Deep Purple.

    • Date: 27th June 2019
    • Venue: L’olympia

    Keeping up those Good Vibrations as we get towards the end of the month, The Beach Boys are here to bring the summer vibes to the city at L'olympia, a surprisingly intimate venue for such a well-known band. 

    You’re guaranteed nothing but classics at this show with songs like I Get Around, California Girls and Good Vibrations all expected to be on the setlist; a fantastic way to get in a summer mood.
